I can't even believe I didn't go to the Fall Out Boy show at MSG tonight. It just hit me that they're going on hiatus and tonight was the last chance I had to see them for who knows how long and I feel like crying. Yeah, I know they'll be back and they're not breaking up, but the feeling of being at a Fall Out Boy show is incredible. I can feel it right now just remembering it. Being literally surrounded by other fans belting out words that mean so much to you? Rushing the stage to get closer to them? Knowing you're going to be feeling the bruises and the stiff muscles for a week afterwards?

Ngl, I kind of hate myself a little bit.

Goodness I am BEYOND excited tv is starting again. Melrose was eh, but I have nothing else to watch on Tuesdays so if I'm home I'll watch for Ruby 1.0 and Michael Rady. GLEE WAS SPECTACULAR. It was killer waiting since May to see what happens next, but this show is going to be amazing so whatever. And there are no words for how amazing Supernatural was. Forget having a life. I only have like, 4 friends left now that school started back up so tv can keep me company :D

Anywho. Icons. I madez dem. )

my sordid past has come back to haunt me in every possible way imaginable.

which is kind of hilarious in that, "this really isnt all that funny FML" kind of way.

so bamboozle saturday was amazing.

we left my house around quarter to 9 and stopped at dunkin donuts and then left for jersey. which was funny because the second we got into jersey it just smelled so bad. im just going to say rn that i buy into that "im from ny and that automatically makes me better then you" because lets face it, its true. but anyway, we got there and then it rained on us for a solid 5 minutes at then stopped. which was awesome since i was dressed for crap weather and then it was gorgeous out and therefore hot as balls the rest of the day.

while we were waiting to get in, i ended up seeing dob, aka kelly's prom date, promoting his new band and ducked so that he wouldnt see me XD turns out though that he hit on megan in a bar once so she probably had more reason to duck then i did haha. and i also saw half of my HS, but not kira who i actually wouldve liked to see D:

then we saw the cab, got merch, went on some rides, and then nearly got killed seeing ftsk. also, i tried to worm my way up during metro station so that i could be by the front for cobra but that was the worst idea because apparently the world stopped hating metro station without my noticing. oh! but then boys like girls came on and i had the time of my life because i forgot that i loved their cd, but they were kind of douchey so that was lame. then we hung back during cobra and danced instead of being killed. i think im getting too old for these things seeing as how i still feel like i got my ass kicked 2 days later. XD

ummmmmmm then we went over to fall out boy's stage 2 hours early to get a decent spot, which worked amazingl well. we were watching the get up kids and then dob was there AGAIN and i was like, dob, look. you need to stop being in every facet of my life plz standing next to me like we didnt go to a prom together and i didnt distribute a 5 layer cake while selling his merch. fml.

oh but then we ended up against the middle baricade and like, 5 people from the front for fall out boy. oh, but first we had to wait for ~linc's special guest~ which turned out to be a really convincing journey cover band, which was just about the funniest thing ever. and then fall out boy came out and even though it was my 4th time seeing them, they were still incredible. my sides are all bruised since i was crushed between a metal fence and half the tri-state area all while jumping around like a lunatic but it was totally worth it. they played an amazing set and the next time theyre playing im buying whatever the best ticket package is and idgaf what it costs because whatever money i spend or bruises and cuts i get doesnt matter in the slightest. all of it always be worth it to see them play.<3

i need to figure out what the hell i want to do with my life. i know i want to do something in music, and id kill to be a musician, but im afraid that i cant sing. you know those times when you hear yourself talk on a video or answering machine and youre like, is that really my voice? i dont even like how my voice sounds. and i feel like going to school for psych is taking the easy way out. i wouldnt have to try and do something out of my element. i know i could get a degree for psych. i always did really well in school when i showed up. i need something to push me to take lessons and actually sit down and see if i have any sort of talent with writing lyrics and whatnot. i just have no patience or motivation. D:

i am, however, really freaking excited to see lady gaga. and once i buy a ticket to bamboozle i'll be even more excited for that. i cant wait to see fall out boy again.

oh and today i went to the post office and it turned out to be the worst things ive ever tried to do ever. i sent out a package to japan and i started out with the wrong box. stupid me, thinking i could just use any ol' box. after that i had to fill out some international form and fill out the addresses like, six times. about thirty years and thirteen dollars later, i got the hell out of there. needless to say, this was a really fun day for me and my love of social situations.

so that new purple hoodie i bought? the clan one with the candy hearts on it that i paid 36 dollars for? its going for hundreds of dollars on ebay. if i wasnt(weren't?) currently residing in its luxurious warmth and softness id consider selling it and being rich. people are nuts. i shouldve bought a second one :3

Do you consider yourself an optimist, a pessimist, or a realist?

View 500 Answers

honestly, I consider myself a realist, but with a positive outlook. I tend to see things for what they are, but I also know how to put things in a good perspective. its not, "oh my job sucks balls and they treat me like shit," its "I have a job and I should be greatful I haven't been laid off." its not, "oh he didn't like me because I was too hard to date." its, "he wasn't a decent enough guy to be patient." maybe you think it makes me a delusional person, but at least I'm happy.

Ah, Sunday, the day of rest. What's your favorite way to spend a Sunday morning?

on the rare sundays that i have off from work, i like to sleep in and then wake up around 11 and eat breakfast. usually on sundays, my mom'll make eggs, bacon and toast, or we'll get bagels or egg sandwiches. actually, now that i think about it, i hate working sundays. D:

RIP John Lennon. The list of sudden and unexpected celebrity deaths is long—Princess Di, Heath Ledger, Kurt Cobain, Marilyn Monroe, and many more. Which one affected you the most on an emotional level?

for a second I thought this country accomplished something electing a black president. it shouldn't be a big deal, but it truthfully is. every president has been white for the passed 200-something years. history was made last night. our kids and our grandkids will read about it in their textbooks. last night something huge happened.

sadly, last night something terrible happened as well. prop 8 got passed in california and similar laws got passed in other states. unbelievable. I thought being gay wasn't a big deal anymore. when my kids ask me about this election, ill tell them about how me and a million other people felt about obama getting elected, and then ill tell them about how a million other people were devasted. for a second I thought this country was turning around. and then I went back to being disappointed in human beings.

Obama won and i'm incredibly relieved. i am still afraid that prop 8 might get passed though. we have our first black president, and we've come this far, but we've still got a ways to go.

We have to ask: What are you going to be for Halloween this year? And can we see a picture?
